Monash International Merit Scholarship
This scholarship is designed for high-achieving international students pursuing undergraduate studies at Monash University.
- Award Value: $10,000 annually, up to $50,000 in total.
- Eligibility:
- Must be an international student.
- Have an unconditional offer for a full-time undergraduate program at a Monash Australian campus.
- Exclusions:
- Programs like Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, and Medical Science.
- English Proficiency:
- Must meet Monash’s English language requirements. Approved tests include IELTS, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, and Cambridge English certifications.
- Ongoing Requirements:
- Maintain a distinction average (70%).
- Participate in Monash marketing and promotional activities by providing a student profile.
- Application Process:
- No separate application required. Eligible students are automatically considered upon receiving their course offer.
- Deadline: December 5, 2024.
Engineering Masters Pathway Scholarship
This scholarship supports exceptional Year 12 students intending to pursue a combined Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Master of Engineering program.
- Award Value: Up to $30,000.
- Eligibility:
- Open to Australian and New Zealand citizens, international students, and Australian humanitarian visa holders.
- Must plan to enroll in a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Master of Engineering at Monash.
- Achieve a minimum ATAR score of 98.00 in IB or Australian Year 12.
- Engineering Specializations:
- Aerospace, Civil, Chemical, Electrical and Computer Systems, Materials, Environmental, Mechanical, Robotics, and Mechatronics Engineering.
- Ongoing Requirements:
- Maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 or higher each semester.
- English Proficiency:
- Meet Monash’s English requirements (IELTS, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, Cambridge certifications).
- Application Process:
- No separate application required. Students are automatically assessed through VTAC applications.
- Deadline: December 5, 2024.
- Note: This scholarship cannot be deferred.
English Language Programs
Students who do not meet the English language requirements can take courses at the Monash University English Language Centre, which offers tailored programs to help meet entry requirements.
