Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship
This scholarship recognizes and supports outstanding international students. It provides significant financial assistance for tuition fees and is applicable to all eligible undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs.
- Award Value: Covers 50% of tuition fees.
- Duration: Valid for the entire duration of the program.
- Level of Study: Undergraduate and Postgraduate Coursework.

Eligibility Requirements
- Residency:
- Must be an international student (excluding Australian and New Zealand citizens).
- Academic Standards:
- Hold a minimum GPA of 6.0 on a 7-point scale or equivalent from prior coursework.
- Admission Offer:
- Must receive an offer to enroll in a Griffith University program before the scholarship application deadline.
- Language Proficiency:
- Fulfill all academic and English language requirements for the selected program. Approved tests include:
- IELTS
- TOEFL iBT
- PTE Academic
- ISLPR
- Program Commencement:
- Must begin studies as a full-time student in 2024, 2025, or 2026.
Terms and Conditions
- Scholarships are available only to international fee-paying students.
- Scholarships are non-deferrable and will be withdrawn if the student does not accept the scholarship and course offer by the stated deadline.
- Recipients are required to maintain a minimum GPA of 5.5 on a 7.0-point scale each year to remain eligible.
- The scholarship is not applicable to the following programs:
- Higher-degree research programs.
- Non-award or online programs.
- Study abroad programs.
- Griffith English Language Institute courses.
- MBA programs (Program Code 5670).
- Part-time programs.
Ongoing Enrolment Requirements
- Full-Time Study:
- Recipients must remain enrolled full-time unless credit exemptions reduce the load.
- Academic Progress:
- All courses for each trimester must be completed successfully to maintain eligibility.
- Continuity:
- The scholarship applies only to the program for which it was granted. If a recipient withdraws or cancels enrollment, the scholarship funds will not be refunded.
